Exhibitor Rules

As an exhibitor/vendor you are responsible for all licensing, taxes and your own liability insurance.

All tables must be covered with a table cover or skirting from top of table to floor.

To enter a dish (licensed restaurants/caterers only) for the "Best Salad" competition, it must be received on Saturday, August 1st, 2009 at the event, no later than 12:30 pm.

You may not sell alcoholic beverages, adult material or any other product/service prohibited by law.

Set Up time:

Set up time is Saturday, August 1st, from 8:00 am to 12:30 pm. Upon arrival you will be assigned a spot. You may change your location only after clearing with the Event Coordinator.

Booths:

Outdoor booths may bring canopies or Sun Umbrellas. You are responsible for securing these to the ground in case of severe weather conditions.

"Best Salad" Competition:

Points will be rewarded for visual presentation, freshness of product, flavor and creativity.

Professional restaurants/caterers only: Entries will be judged by Celebrity judges as well as the public. Winners are determined by points, 50% of which are from Celebrities' votes, 50% are public choice. Awards will be given for First, Second and Third Places in each Category.

All of the profit from the event goes to the Farmworker Council. The Western Executives are donating their time and will not receive any compensation. There is no fee to enter the Salad Competition, but you must either be an exhibitor or purchase a ticket to enter the festival.
