List of Vendors ● Celebrity Judges ● Press Release ● Vendor Application ● Competition Entry Form (must be received by Midnight, July 30, 2009) All of the profit from the ticket sales goes to the Farmworker Council. We will also be able to accept donations of school items: pencils, backpacks, crayons, calculators and other supplies to help with the education of the farm workers' kids. The ultimate goal is to provide self-sustenance to these families, many of whom merely earn minimum wages for back breaking labor to pick our fruit and vegetables. For each school supply item you bring in, you'll receive a free raffle ticket! The charity would like to use the money raised to provide their client families with $10.00 vouchers each for back to school clothing and/or shoes. Many farm worker's kids attend schools that have a school uniform code, and often that is an extra burden on the families. The plans are to make this an annual event. Our proximity to the Glades and its farming community makes the festival a project close to everybody's heart. Let us help those who work hard to put food on our tables!
Tickets are $10.00 in advance, $15.00 at the door. Purchase tickets now:
